Dayo Adeneye, a dynamic entertainment entrepreneur, has spoken out about his rift with Kenny Ogungbe, his co-founder at Kennis Music.
During a lively talk show interview with comedian Teju Babyface, Adeneye described the difficult times when he and Keke had a falling out. He shared how he sought advice from his father during their disagreement. His father’s advice was straightforward yet profound: “If their disagreement was over something trivial like money or a woman, they should find a way to resolve it because nothing should come between them.”
Adeneye clarified that money was not the cause of their rift. According to him, the disagreement stemmed from a woman.
Since launching Kennis Music in 2000, Adeneye and Ogungbe have faced many challenges in their relationship. The record label played a significant role in the success of numerous Nigerian music stars such as 2face, Eedris AbdulKareem, Tony Tetuila, Sound Sultan, Jaywon, and others.
