DJ Speedsta has shut down rumours claiming K1llBrady has been barred from performing in Cape Town.
The speculation started after a viral post suggested the rapper needed approval from “CPT higher-ups” to perform in the city, sparking talk of possible industry gatekeeping.
Reacting to the claims, Speedsta dismissed the narrative, warning that such rumours could create unnecessary tension.

“Nah this ain’t it… don’t create a narrative that’s attached to any kind of violence,” he said, stressing that their differences should remain within the boundaries of hip-hop culture.
He added that rivalry, banter, and not liking each other should not translate into real-life conflict.
The two artists have had their fair share of back-and-forth on social media and podcasts, but Speedsta’s response suggests a clear effort to keep things from escalating beyond entertainment.
