Ed Sheeran, the acclaimed English singer-songwriter, has recently shared how his musical career has influenced his personal life. The 33-year-old, who has won multiple Grammys, revealed in a recent Instagram video that he might have remained a virgin if he hadn’t pursued music.
In the video, Sheeran candidly stated, “If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be a virgin.”
Sheeran’s first known relationship was with Scottish artist Nina Nesbitt in 2012, who inspired his songs ‘Nina’ and ‘Photograph’. Following that, Sheeran was in a relationship with Athina Andrelos from 2014 until February 2015. She was the muse for his hit song ‘Thinking Out Loud’. In July 2015, Sheeran began a relationship with Cherry Seaborn, a friend from his childhood. The couple got engaged in January 2018 and tied the knot a year later. Cherry was the inspiration behind Sheeran’s song ‘Perfect’.
The pair welcomed their first daughter in 2020 and their second daughter on May 19, 2022.
