The soundtrack for the Hollywood movie, The Book of Clarence features Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold, who has drawn harsh criticism for it.
Adekunle Gold and Yemi Alade, who will make their debut on The Book of Clarence, are poised to take the world by storm.
The much-anticipated film with a soundtrack will have appearances by the two music icons in addition to international performers like Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Kid Cudi, Jorja Smith, Shabba Ranks, and more.

Jay Z, who also serves as the filmβs producer, will release new music for the James Samuel-directed film.
Sharing the movie trailer, Adekunle Gold wrote:
βItβs great to see such incredible representation in a first-of-its-kind film. #TheBookofClarence, a film by @Jeymes features new music from myself, @JAYZ @liltunechi @yemialade, and more. Exclusively in movie theaters January 12.β
However, the film has drawn a lot of criticism from online users who label it blasphemous and disparage the singer.

βHow do all not see that this movie is blasphemous? Thereβs only one God, only one Jesus Christ. Clearly Clearance in the movie literally get slapped and called blasphemous in the trailer for trying to imitate Jesus. Lol. Christians use your brain please. ????????β
