Music executive Paulo Okoye has recently claimed that Kizz Daniel stands as the sole Nigerian artist capable of challenging Grammy winner Burna Boy. In a discussion with broadcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Daddy Freeze, Paulo acknowledged Burna Boy’s current dominance in Nigeria’s music industry but suggested that Kizz Daniel has the potential to compete with him if he continues to develop his career.
Despite comparisons to other top artists like Davido and Wizkid, Paulo Okoye believes Kizz Daniel is uniquely positioned to rival Burna Boy. Reflecting on his past experiences working with Kizz Daniel, Paulo shared, “Kizz Daniel is the only person that I know that can challenge Burna Boy if he puts himself together. I worked with him two years ago. And I know how much he makes. Kizz Daniel made at least $7.5 million from my side. I don’t even know how much he makes from others.”
Paulo also highlighted Burna Boy’s financial success, noting that he earned approximately $70 million to $80 million in the past year, making him the wealthiest Nigerian artist.
