Nigerian Mo Adeniran, has won this year’s The Voice UK competition, beating 3 others to emerge winner.
The 21-year old was utterly shocked upon being announced winner, as his coach, Jennifer Hudson, rushed to the stage amidst tears to hug him.
“Thank you everyone at home, I just want to say thank you to Jennifer and all the coaches. An amazing thank you to the most phenomenal person I have ever met, thank you Jennifer,” Mo said after he was announced winner.
Mo, who works night shift at a hotel also won a record deal with Polydor Records. The company also congratulated on social media writing:
“CONGRATS TO @imjustcalledmo FOR WINNING THE VOICE UK! We’ll be seeing you soon,” they wrote.
