Maduka Okoye openly shared his musical preference between Davido and Burna Boy during a recent interview. Without hesitation, he expressed his favoritism towards Davido over Burna Boy when posed with the question. Okoye acknowledged the talent of both artists but admitted that he enjoys listening to Davido more. He mentioned that Davido’s songs dominate his playlist compared to Burna Boy’s, hence his choice.
“Let me say it like this. I listen more to Davido than Burna Boy. But there are songs from Burna Boy that I love. But there is more of Davido’s song on my play list than Burna Boy.”
Maduka Okoye is a professional football goalkeeper, born on August 28, 1999, with dual Nigerian-German nationality. Standing 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 meters), he began his youth career in Germany with clubs like Bayer Leverkusen and Fortuna Düsseldorf. Okoye made his professional debut with Fortuna Düsseldorf II before moving to Sparta Rotterdam in 2020, becoming the first-choice goalkeeper.
In 2021, he signed with Watford FC but continued to develop with a loan back to Sparta Rotterdam. Internationally, Okoye debuted for the Nigerian national team in 2019 and has participated in major tournaments like the Africa Cup of Nations. He is recognized for his height, quick reflexes, and strong command of the penalty area.
