Nigerian rapper, YCee has called out the show Promoters of Rick Ross Live in Lagos Concert.
Recall that Rick Ross touched down in Lagos yesterday and made the internet busy with videos of him cruising with Nigerian celebrities like CDQ, Kogbagidi, DJ Obi and others before his show.
Davido and Tiwa Savage were paid to headline the show for Rick Ross. Also Mayorkun, Buju, Wurld, 1da Banton, Lojay and others were part of the night’s line up. Ycee took to Twitter to react to this decision by the show promoters not to include any Nigerian rapper after watching clips of his colleague’s performance.
According to Ycee, it might seem he is chasing clout because he has not put out any rap music in a while, but he feels show promoters didn’t do well by not including any rappers. He asserts that this move is the main reason why Nigerian rappers are switching genres and fans will be left wondering why they did so.
Ycee added that even if his fellow rappers won’t speak out, he won’t keep quiet because everything is ‘not bars and ability’. See below;
