Davido has revealed the motive behind his collaboration with Humblesmith, in a recent interview. The singer was asked what inspires his collaboration with other artistes and he responded by saying;
Sometimes you just have to be at the place at the right time (to get the right collaboration) like my collaboration with Humblesmith (on Osinachi remix).
The controversy causing wordings of Davido’s verse on Oshinachi remix, is a response to talks that emanated from the Momodu family, the family of Sophie, Davido’s baby mama. The singer revealed this in a recent interview. Davido said;
I probably wouldn’t have done that song if I didn’t fall out with my baby mama’s family.
