In a recent interview with Pulse NG, Falz spoke on the Nigerian hip-hop culture which was recently brought under public scrutiny by M.I‘s Fix Up Your Life song.
Falz was of the opinion that rather than forcing the hardcore rap style on Nigerian MCs, rappers should be allowed to explore different styles and infuse African music elements to their music, since hip-hop itself is an imported music culture.
