Paul Okoye, the Nigerian singer better known as Rudeboy, has taken a hit at Eedris Abdulkareem over his recent statement about Burna Boy.

Eedris, in a snippet of an unreleased episode of the Honest Bunch podcast, addressed a remark made by Burna Boy some years ago.
In 2020, the African Giantβ hitmaker declared that nobody paved the way for him in Nigeria.
But in the recent podcast, the Jaga Jagaβ hitmaker said it was βstupidβ for Burna Boy to have made such a statement.
In a post via his Instagram story on Sunday, Rudeboy called out Abdulkareem for βalways insulting artistes at every opportunityβ.
He also referred to the 2004 show in Port Harcourt where Eedris and 50 Cent fell out over a deal, adding that he had βkept silent about what transpiredβ.

Rudeboy said the top Nigerian artistes then had unanimously agreed about βpayments and treatment conditions but Eedris went behind their backs and collected peanutsβ.
βEvery eke market day we go dey hear I fought for the industry, na me cook dey food wey una dey chop. I go just dey laugh,β he wrote in pidgin English.
βNow you wan reply with music, you go reply taya. Over 20 yrs I have kept silent about what really transpired.
βHow we top Nigerian artists as of then agreed with one voice, about payment conditions and treatments on same 50cent show, only for this greedy guy to go behind and collected peanut.
βYou dey expect vip treatment on top peanut payment? You keep insulting any artiste at every opportunity, if is not Tuface, its Psquare, Timaya, Dbanj, now na Burna, you go explain tayaβ.
