Paul Okoye, widely recognized as Rudeboy from the now-defunct music group Psquare, is making headlines on social media following a recent live video where he shared details about the requirements for aspiring artists wishing to join his record label. In the video, Rudeboy discussed the considerable expenses involved in promoting new talent and laid out the criteria that artists must meet before being considered for a contract. He reiterated that Psquare has officially disbanded for the second time.
Among the conditions, Rudeboy specified that potential signees must present proof of real estate ownership and secure their parents’ signatures. Additionally, he enforced a strict no-smoking policy, announcing a severe penalty of N10 million for any artist caught smoking.
Rudeboy stated:
“Before I sign an artiste to my record label, the artiste must bring a landed property and his/her parent must sign. You cannot smoke any substance and I catch you smoking, it will be a minus N10m.”
