A lot of times, people find it necessary to explain their actions to others so as not to get misjudged or misunderstood. However, a lot of times, your explanations do so little in changing people’s perception of you.
According to Temi, explaining yourself is time-consuming, as some people have already decided who you are and nothing you do will change that, so it’s best to reserve your energy for something more productive.
