Popular American microblogging and social networking service, Twitter has officially recognized, Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid and Olamide as the GOATs of Afrobeats.
The founder, Jack Dorsey and his co-members/employees made some changes and attached a customized GOAT emoji to Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Olamide‘s hashtags. The Goat symbol appears whenever the A-list artists are trending on Twitter.
This emoji has stirred major controversy from other fanbases whose faves weren’t recognized. Although Wizkid FC didn’t miss the opportunity to drag Davido with false accusations that he paid Twitter to attach the emoji to his name. However, it is Ckay’s fans we are actually worried about.
Ckay fans are calling out Twitter for not recognizing him following his recent achievements and his new title as the Best selling African Artist and Most influential artist on Tiktok and Youtube.
