Falz believes that Nigerians are only hurting themselves by reacting to the Xenophobic attacks with violence.

Nigerians have reacted to the recent Xenophobic attacks by South Africans on Nigerians with violence. Several youths all over the country have taken turns to destroy properties or businesses belonging to South Africans. Some celebrities have also joined the movement in boycotting their brands.

However, Falz believes the attacks are unnecessary and took to his Twitter page to beseech Nigerians to stop the violence and focus on better ways to solve the issue amicably.

According to him, the Xenophobic attacks have caused more than enough trouble already and using violence to counter violence is not the way. Falz explained that attacking people or vandalizing properties would only make things worse.

He wrote This a very difficult time for everyone but violence is never the answer. Attacking people or vandalizing businesses in Nigeria will not solve the problem, but will rather make things worse. We are hurting our own selves! Please
