Wizkid is now the first African artiste to hit 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
You would recall that the Starboy had over 6 million listeners on Spotify just a few weeks ago making him the most streamed artiste on the platform.
However, following the release of hit songs like Dis Love and I like with Kojo Funds, the number of listeners have skyrocketed to 8 million listeners monthly.
With this achievement, Wizkid becomes first African to hit 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He is currently ranked 434th in the world leaving his former position as the 496th. Wizkid is also the only African artist in the top 500 in the world.
