Nigerian singer, Wizkid has surprisingly commented on the 2023 elections. It is worthy to recall that Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid were heavily criticised for not lending their voice to the 2023 election. Davido was partially exempted due to the death of his son, But Burna Boy received heavy backlash for always singing about Nigeria’s problem and not voting.
The drags became hotter when Burna finally talked about the elections after Fans tagged him to a video of Falz, doing the work of an African Giant. In Wizkid’s case, his fans tried defending him with the excuse he is not interested in Politics. Other fanbase helped them dig up old tweets of Wizkid campaigning for Presidential candidates.
However, On the 29th of March, Wizkid released the video of Money and Love and Nigerians were able to understand how he felt about the Presidential election.
