Essence by Wizkid, featuring Tems, has been ranked as the number 1 song on RollingStone’s best songs on the 2021 list.
RollingStone has just released their list of the best songs of 2021 and at the very top of that list, we have Wizkid’s Essence. The list was released on Monday, the 6th of December 2021
Loads of accolades keep coming Wizkids’s way since the release of his global hit track, also certified as the official song of the summer, Essence, featuring Nigerian talented singer, Tems.
Asides from this win, Essence has hit different achievements, including breaking into the top 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 (making it the highest-ranking African song ever to appear on the chart), scoring over 60 million streams on Apple Music, entering the US Apple Music top 10 as the first African song to do so, among others.
It just keeps getting better, and we have no ta doubt that Wizkid has more coming his way. Congrats to him.
