Young Dolph`s family held a private funeral service for him today.
Young Dolph was laid to rest today Tuesday, 30th of November in private funeral service in Memphis, Tennessee; local news outlets report.
In a statement, the Memphis Police Department confirmed they were at the scene of the service and said Dolph`s family asks that everyone please respect their privacy during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
Fox 13 reporter, Jeremy Pierre, who was in attendance of Young Dolph`s Celebration of Life, tweeted photos of the funeral program. One picture showed the late 36-year-old and his grandmother together on an airplane, which Pierre said was the first time she ever flew.
Last week, Dolph`s family thanked fans for “the outpouring of love” in their first statement since the death of the rapper.
There are no words that exist, that sufficiently express the pain we are feeling as a family. Losing Adolph, Dolph, Man-Man, changes our lives forever. And while we will take each day as it comes, we are comforted in knowing that he leaves a legacy that reflects his heart. A heart that was for his family. A heart that was for the people.
