Femi Silva is a talented sensational singer who began his career few years ago. With a background in music fostered by his father, a multi-instrumentalist. He has blossomed into a promising entertainer and song writer with an unquenchable desire for greatness.
With a passion to create something that sets him apart, he has created a fusion of High-life and Dancehall melodies inspired by King Sunny Ade, Popcaan, Chronixx, Pasuma and Shabba Ranks. After his Dad’s demise in 2000, he decided to follow his passion and dream to contribute majorly to the African music scene on the global stage.
Joint History is Femi Silva`s journey and story in the music industry so far. it’s all about my growth as an artist, my process of learning and unlearning. Some of the songs on the project are body of work have been working on for years. London girl was written in 2016, nobody was written and recorded in 2018, packaging was written and recorded in 2019 and others were recorded in 2020. My story of being on major platform with top afrobeat musician without recognition yet, the love and celebration from my fans at ilupeju, did a concert at ilupeju in 2018 with over 2000 people in attendance, all this coming together make it a joint history.
