Patrick Ugochukwu Chinyeremeze who is professionally known as Yo P, was born on July 18, 1988, in Lagos. He is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is from Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State was raised in Lagos and grew up in a Christian home with 7 female siblings and 3 male siblings.
While growing up, he participated in activities like singing, telling jokes, and acting in various social events, including school and church programs. Friends and family from his name Patrick gave him numerous nicknames ranging from Mr P, Papa, Pato, Patty, P3k and then Yo P
In 2009, he recorded his first songs, “Lay it Well,” “Only One,” and many more songs. In 2018, Yo P achieved a major milestone in his career with the release of his first studio album, Unstoppable by P3K. This album showcased his versatility and set the stage for his future success. In 2024, under the name Yo P, he continued to release hit songs such as “Difference”, “Beautiful”, “Chukwu Oma”, “Lay It Well”, “Only One”, “Don’t Broke”, and “Anybody”.
