Rebirth Of The Drum Album is the name of the latest studio effort from Soshanguve, a South African house music duo.
Black Motion’s fifth studio album, Rebirth Of The Drum, was made available on September 1, 2023, via Universal Music Africa. The CD, which honors the African drum, has guest appearances by Madala Kunene, Busi Mhlongo, and Mabi Gabriel Thobejane.
The duo’s own ancestry and culture, as well as their goal to make music that is both true and modern, served as inspiration for the album. The tracks on the album examine a variety of feelings, including happiness and celebration as well as love and sadness.
