Produced by DJ Psychotune, this is a deviation from the cute, girly Mairé everybody is used to. Kau kau brings out and amplifies her tomboyish alter ego, which according to her, “is really me by the way.”
Mairé, the beautiful singer, has defied the norm in 2018. A sharp contrast to the sing along vibe of her well- received single ”˜Bad`, ”˜Kau Kau` showcases an interesting retro hip-hop flow. With lyrics like “If you try me my goons go physical,” it almost feels like we are in a street setting where Mairé is boss, and run things! This new path she has chosen may just be her good luck charm in this entertainment industry.
