On Sunday night, Nigeria’s own singer Ayra Starr, also known as Sarah Aderibigbe, made a disappointing announcement on her Instagram story.
The singer was slated to perform at the highly anticipated ‘Something In The Water Concert’ in Virginia City next month alongside the likes of ASAP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, and more. But due to a doctor’s orders for immediate bed rest, Ayra Starr has canceled all of her shows in the United States.
In her statement on Instagram, Ayra Starr apologized to fans for being unable to attend her much anticipated show, as doctor’s orders had officially barred her from travelling. She concluded her statement by promising her fans to come back to the States real soon, in a bigger way .
The statement read;
DC, VA & Houston your girl is going through it. My doctor has advised I slow down, hence I`m on immediate bed rest.
So sorry I couldn`t meet every one of you as planned. I`m also sorry you feel let down but I promise to be back in a special way for you when we`ll have a magical time.
