Davido, the renowned Afrobeats star, recently made headlines in a throwback video calling on some of his colleagues in the music industry to join him in elevating from the bachelor status to the married status. The popular Instagram blog, Goldmyne, shared the old clip of Davido amid his absence on social media to allow fans savor the moment the DMW Boss trended in 2019.
In the clip of Davido, the Crooner was seen urging his colleagues Timaya, Peruzzi and music executive, Soso Soberekon, about the importance of settling down for a better future. Davido, who had plans to get married to his ex-fiancee, Chioma Rowland, in 2020 before their break-up, seemed determined in the video to get his colleagues to follow suite.
The reactions that sparked online was that of mixed reactions from fans as some thought it was a good initiative from Davido in pushing his colleagues to take the plunge. Other fans however, saw it as a random act that was uncalled for, as it was not his place to tell the others when to get married.
