Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Divine ”Rema” Ikubor has taken to social media to mark the one-year anniversary of his debut album, Rave & Roses.
The Mavin/Jonzing Records artiste released Rave & Roses on March 25, 2022 and songs on the tracklist have gone on to enjoy massive airplay both domestic and foreign, as well as garnering large streaming numbers.
Rema, in a Twitter post on 25th of March 2023 described it as the biggest African debut album of all time.
He thanked fans for the show of love and support while urging them to cherish his project because of what it represents.
He wrote; “1 year ago I dropped Rave & Roses, the biggest African debut Album of all time. Continue to cherish this project for it represents one of the pillars of our Rave culture, thank you for your undying love & support.”
