Nigerian singer, Portable has officially been disqualified from the forthcoming 15th Headies Award.
Mr Habeeb Okikiola’s disqualification was announced on their social media accounts on Tuesday, 26th of July. According to The Headies Organizers, Portable is being disqualified as a result of his recent misconduct.
The Headies officially disqualifies Mr Habeeb Okikiola ( @portablebaeby ) from its 15th nominees list to further pass a strong message of not condoning reckless and uncouth statements.
The music industry demands all-round excellence, and it is extremely important for young artists being potential role models to exude professional responsibility, proper decorum and have respect for others.
They added that Portable has been removed from the Best Street Pop Act and Rookie Of The Year categories.
You would recall that Portable was trending for days after he said he is the leader of 1 Million boys and Ajah boys cult. He was also on the news for arranging Boys to beat up DJ Chicken and when his Range was used to crush an Okada Rider in Ogun State.
