
Singer Michael Olayinka, famously known as Ruger, has been seen linking up with fellow artistes Crown Uzama aka Shallipopi and Divine Ikubor, known mononymously as Rema, backstage.Β In a video posted on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram, Ruger is seen exchanging pleasantries with Shallipopi, while Zerry DI and Rema share a handshake during the Wireless Festival in London.Β Another highlight from the festival includes Rugerβs appearance with DJ Cuppy in a segment titled βQuick Wire Questions.β
Seated with microphones in hand, DJ Cuppy encouragedΒ RugerΒ to express his ambitions.Β She said:
βThis is your chance to put yourself out there, you know shoot that shot. If you could work with any other artiste, I mean we have so manyβ¦β
Ruger promptly responded,Β βDoja Cat,βΒ and DJ Cuppy replied,Β βOh, he said it. He knows what he wants.β
The Wireless Festival, an annual celebration of rap and hip-hop, is owned and managed by Live Nation and has become a key event in Londonβs music scene.Β The 2024 edition which ran from July 12 to July 14 saw the three artistes perform.
