Yaya formerly known as Slym Harley was born in Lagos but hails from Bauchi state, Dass to be precise. He schooled in Cameroon and got back to Nigeria in 2013 to pursue his musical dream. With his afro fusion genre, Yaya has been able to work with the likes of Iyanya, 2Baba, Solid star, B red, Terri, Mr. Leo, Stanley Enow, Tzy Panchak, Daphne, Cleo Grae, and many more in the industry. Yaya is also a professional pianist, Drummer, and music producer.
Yaya is about to dominate the music industry as he ends the year with his first official single titled “Gbera” prod by himself. In his words “Gbera is a happy song about upliftment and enjoyment telling all my enemies to stay off the way and let me have my fun without disturbances
